Question about starter box

Hi,
My question is, If I have a starter box that runs on 2 stick packs could I just hook it up so I could use some aligator clips and run it off of a car battery???

I used the alligater clip trick on my vehicles battery for a while. It works great. Here's another alternative; go with a gel cell battery. They fit inside the starter box, and they only have to be recharged about once a month, depending on how much you use it. You can get them for $18 at tower, and the charger is $10.
