Hey everybody, Im looking at the superbrain, and I am wondering if it can charge NIHM reciever packs for nitro's. I heard somewhere that you could, but I am not sure.

Thanks

Yes but be careful. It can over heat your RX Nimhs using it's"plug and play "settings. Nimhs don't seem to handle Delta peak technology well, set your amps at 3 or less and your Delta peak at 20 or less and it works fine.

well its not the delta peak, but nimh should be charged at less than 1amp and plug and play is 3,5 i think, so change it to 0,5 or 1 and threshold to 20 mv, had no trouble with this charger,

Ok that is great, but do I need an adapter?

And they are AA size, right? The reciever batteries I mean. Like in a pack like trinity's. Does that affect charging time?

Thanks a lot for the speedy reply!

i think it depends from manufacturer, but trinity make packs from sub-c cells, but it doesnt affect charging time ( which is rather big for nimh) and you will need an adapeter, but its easy to do it yourself, get tamija plug and servo cable with socket, or cable to charge pack ( there are special cables) and put it together, it really isnt hard ( i made one and i suck at electronics)

hey- ive been charging my trinity reciever pack with this charger. Nothing but good things to say about it. you dont really need any plugs because it comes with alligator clips that you can connect directly to the wires (but you gotta b careful :p ). Ive been charging at .5 and 1 amp and 30delta peak with good results. i havent tried 20delta peak maybe l8r  .
