Airtronics M8, KO PROPO EX-1 Mars R, Futaba 3PJ, Futaba 3pdf, JR R1, JR XR3

Dont go just by features, but also by value.

I have the KO Propo Mars, and it is a sweet radio. I am happy w/ all the features of the radio and it isn't to much money. The M8 is a really good radio, but a little pricey.

I have the XR-3 and it has all the features I need and non that I don't except for the 3rd channel. It's very easy to program too.
It's a good radio and has never skipped a beat, but I don't like the way it fits my hand.

Jamedup, we had two XR3's and neither of us liked the way it felt either. I ended up buying a roll of the replacement wrap for tennis rackets at our local sporting goods store and wrapping eac controller with it. Not only did it do *wonders* for the comfort level, it never ever gets slippery/sweaty now... Total cost was $2.97 and they felt like new radios..
