add and brushless system and widemaxx to it and dont rase the price and every one will want it if they dont already.

dual brushless, and dont raise the price? thats a little farfetched.

ya but they could make the money in volume.
all tho brushless does cost 300-350 for it so I wouldnt expect any r/c with it intel year 2020 or something that way they would be cheap then.
but it would be nice to see the e-maxx with the widemaxx on it.

Give them time!! They just got done with making a new T-Maxx. How can you expect them to release a new E right away? It might be in the making, it might not be. It's too hard to tell without any word from Traxxas.

Well, AE had the NTC3, then the Monster GT, and now the B4... :p

they also have no reason to make a new e-maxx.
they will put one in the works when someone else make a e-maxx cone.
but intel someone makes another e-maxx you will have to wait.
Until, not Intel:rolleyes:

you make those mistakes when you work and talk about computers 8 hours a day.
until is the word then

How about a Sport E-Maxx, with 2wd and 2 motors, it should fly. I am more into electrics. There should be some electric items coming out of this show, everything seems to be geared twords gas.

it already does fly pops wheels in second gear.

I think the E-Maxx's Power to Weight ratio is a little screwed up.
Its heavy, and doesn't launch off like it should if you ask me. I probably need to play with the gearing a little, but it still seems underpowered / overweight if you ask me.

yea, mine had a launching power problem 2. I think if a sportemaxx was made, it would be sweet, but it would only be 1 speed.

what are you talking about.
the e-maxx launching power is great it pop's whellies and is very fast for a big truck.

I think the E-Maxx's Power to Weight ratio is a little screwed up.
You think so?
I thought the #2 best stock feature of the EMAXX was its power to weight ratio, especially for electrics. Most kits that I can think of are either very low power to weight ratio or (weak silver can motor), or 0 power to weight ratio (no motor comes with it). The EMAXXs stock performance seemed like a highly modified vehicle to me when I first saw it. And I know others at the track felt the same way when I got mine because a few of them came to my area after and asked the ol "what you got in there?". I happily replied, "Nothing, its bone stock".
Monster trucks in general have a poor launch due to the large inertia from the tires (IMO). Perhaps a more accurate statement to describe what you see would be: "I think the EMAXX's mass to rotating mass ratio is a little screwed up". :)

I ask the people on the Traxxas Message Board if they would like to see a sport E-Maxx. And practicaly everyone that posted under my thread. Said that it would be a very bad idea.
Now if they put two 750 size motors in a Sport E-Maxx then that would be something worth making.
I would be willing to bet if a new e-maxx is on the way it will be just as it was originally. In a year a new one might come out and it will one up the other trucks again. No one has really made a E-Maxx clone the closest I would say is the TXT-1 and thats a lot different. I think they will wait and see if someone gets their new electric 4wd into production and then they will release a new emaxx. They already make a sport emaxx its called the STAMPEDE.
If their looking for new emaxx ideas make a solid axle truck with the same speed and tires. Add a 2spd and oh my bye bye TXT-1.:D
And make a conversion kit so I can transform my E into a solid axle truck:D

Wouldn't be too hard at all. Just get ahold of some TXT-1 / Jugg2 axles OR Mad Force axles. Tear off the A-Arms on the E-Maxx, and start bolting the parts on.
And I bet there would be very little custom fabrication work invovled.
Ahh, yes, but the main problem remains: MONEY!

It'll come in due time. :)
I was thinking about it the other day. Maybe I could weld aluminum tubing onto some Maxx aluminum diffs casings or something. And then hub carriers. And then shocks mounts. And then linkage mounts, And then....
These would work nicely, good flange for a weld, but a bit expensive:(

Go to Traxxas website. If you look at the new catalog you'll see the new E-Maxx with Widemaxx suspension and larger heavy duty drive shafts and universals.
