Oh ya they are awsome, but I havent driven mine in along time because lack of time, busy with school and stuff, plus i tried some of those mods from QFM and it made my reception horrible, I was just last working on fixing that. :)

i got one yesterday.. its fun and all.. the steering is kinda bad on mine.. so is the paintjob lol.. i tryed painting its and it screwed up.. its still fun.. especially if you have nitro cars and you cant race them indoors.. my brother keeps changing his mind about the microsizer.. first he says its a waste of money.. then he says its cool and fast.. sigh.. my nitro car broke.. the microsizer is bad luck :D

I have the ZipZap ... looks jsut like the Microsizers, but not as much money. They are fun to play with at the office. The bad thing is you can only race two at a time.

i got a microsizer with a red lancer body, also a black skyline and a fully custom painted skyline body that i got in a body kit, it also has a 2.6 and a 2.8 size motors. i have recently built small ramps out of aluminum blocks for it.and i also have a oval track that i designed and made for it so i can race my friends.

I bought two Microsizers, a 27mhz S2000 and a 47mhz Subie. The subie was always a little quicker, but now, it's twice as fast with nothing done to either car (both box stock); why?

I cleaned the wheels and axles on both, but that made no difference. I swapped motors and now the s2000 is twice a fast. I have to assume that the other motor is already warn out after less than 10 charges. What's up with that?

Just differ performance wise, just like the same kind of 540 motors vary in performance too.

No more problems, I just installed a 2.6 motor with speed gears and speed tires. This little bugger is fast! I think I'll stick (pun not intended) to the soft tires for use in my new tile floor, it spins out way to easy under power. Now it's time to start customizing some bodies. I'm thinking of a RX7 with a flame job ot nice fade.

i have seen so many tiny r/c's lately, i want to get one but am so confused on which one to get.

Heres 4 different ones

there are alot a lot of them on ebay too.

these seem the best for the money, they have a 2.6motor. the microsizer only has a 2.2 and the zipzaps only have a 1.0

what do you think?

CK9887

these seem to be the same as the last link. I watched the video clip and it looks really fast.

http://www.quickzaps.com/catalog/default.php?cPath=21
these also have a 2.6 motor

I am so confused on which one to get. I think i will just get one with the 2.6 motor, without worrying about which one so much, they are probably almost identical.

Sorry to keep posting all the links, theres just so many.

I called radioshack this morning and they said they had zipzaps in stock so i went there and by the time i got there they were sold out.
So then i went to another radioshack and they said people were lining up at 5:45am when they didnt even open till 9:00am. So i went to target and got a microsizer:D
How fast is the zipzap compared to the microsizer?

Is the stock microsizer motor a 2.2?

Also, my microsizer turns really sharp to the right and not as sharp to the left, anybody else have the same problem?

Try fiddling with the steering centering thinger on the bottom of chassis.

Just got my local Wal-Mart flier and it seems that the Microsizers are on sale for $20. I allsume this is a nationwide sale.

Edit: My mistake, it was Target's mailer. I just bought the last 3 as gifts from my local store. These things sell out fast.

BTW, their customer service is #1 in my book too. I have a new motor in the mail to replace a bad one.

i have the same problem it turns really sharp and does donuts turning right but not as sharp turning left. and the car runs straignt so the steering is centered. i dunno what the problem is

is there a significant difference in speed with the fast gear ratio with 2.6 motor compared to stock? how much faster, like, can u tell big time, or is it just ehh.?

I hopped up my microsizer to the maximum (less than $100) and I beat a stock F1 mini-z from my neighborhood, this was like a 2 weeks ago, now I cant beat him because he cought a better motor to his car:(

RCIDIOT

LOL- i added real spring shocks to my microsizer. i have one of those Tech Deck Modifier cars, and they have mini springs in their shocks (supposed to be lifelike), and i put those where the bar from the axle hits the suspension arm of the microsizer. its pretty cool. also, now i dont have to have that stabilizer arm thingy, cuz the spring works good.
i was thinking about somehow putting the Modifier shell onto my micro to make it look lower, but its too much work.

Really hard to make an interesting video with those little guys, still working on it but I figure any video is a good video as long as it's short :)

I'm sorry but I do not believe that your Microsizer beat a Mini Z.

In turning radius I'm sure it could, but even a stock Z is faster than a hopped up Microsizer. Even with a 3.8 custom motor and the two cell mod that car can't hit 10 mph.

No websites have said that the Microsizers or the Bit cars can be as fast as Mini Zs unless they are a drag specific Microsizer. But then it cannot turn hardly and even then it barely beats a Z in a drag race of about 8 feet. After 8 feet the Z pulls away.

Your buddy must be the worst driver around, or the track was miniscule and too tight for cars over 2 inches long.

Between the Zipzaps, Microsizer, and Bit Charg-g.

Speed Wise 1 being slowest 10 being fastest .

Zipzaps are a 1

Microsizers are a 5

Bit Charg-g are a 10

the car turns better to the right because there is no diff to even out the speed of the rear wheels, the left wheel turns faster than the right, and it is harder for the car to turn against that force, when you turn right it pushes the car in that direction. my z-cars by atomic both have the same problem. i too have a probelm, because i dropped one of them several times from approx. 3-4 feet & now it doesn't work so hot. how did you cram 2 batteries into that thing? & how much faster do the other motors make them?

to all of you who race/run your bit charg's on a pool table or other soft high grip surface, i just discovered the best setup trick. just take your front tires off! no more spinouts and you can go full throttle through the whole course. when you try to straighten out coming down the straightaway, you don't veer off into a wall or spin out. the understeer is just perfect for a pool table size track. try it, and let me know what you think! :D

these things are really fun and are worth the money. i race with my bro and my friend (he has some sort of ther car with identical chassis). for speed problems, check rear axle and motor for protruding hair. for handling problems, try taking off the entire wheel system to take out hair. but make sure not to lose all the little parts. for faster speed, also try racing without a body, i found drastic speed increases. also without the bodies, my friend, my bro and i made up a game where you push the other guys body off the table. anyways...

btw, on that microsizer under the evst, what body is on around the little one?

wess
01-18-2003, 12:50 AM
just a note: driving without a body, with any car, will always make the car feel faster and handle more responsively. it's most noticeable with electric 1/10. the car isn't really going faster, although the handling does change - you have more control over the car which makes it feel more aggressive/faster.:( i usually drive without bodies so i can see all the hop ups on the chassis while i'm driving it :D

My son and I were playing with our cars last night. I added the slower gear set to his car so he could have some resemblance of control. On my car, I experimented with tires. I found that adding the block tires to the rear and the ribbed tire to the front made the car spin out much less. I was actually able to do some power slides around the corners.

Got a few new bodies to play with too. It's hard to find stickers that fit these little things.

I was at wal-mart today and they had like 10 different brands for the mini cars. I dont know the names but I can describe them. Theres a truck, imports, *** looking imports, muscle cars, and cars with clear bodies. Would the motors and batteries from the kind of cars work in these.

cool, an accident maybe. I got one of the first Microsizers that came out, with a Honda S2000 body, it still works fine with no hopups. Then a few weeks ago, I got one with a Turbo Blaster and a yellow Beetle body. That thing is so much fun to use in knocking over my younger brother's Microcycle. :)

I am a little late getting into these things but I think I might take the dive since it will cost next to nothing for me to do so. Do the tune-ups and all that really make much of a difference I just can't really see them changing such a little-low quality car but I might be wrong.

And......

What are you looking to get rid of? Maybe I could help.

Yup! You're wrong! :) I just bought 2 of everything from Tower Hobbies and I was quite amazed at how much of a difference the parts make to performance. Once I crashed my car and the spoiler fell off the back. I couldn't stop doing donuts until I put it back on!
