Well I know a lot of people who were let down by the new maxx, I am definately one of them, but as I and many people said that wasn't their big truck. That was something to shut us up for a month. The new Tmaxx is among us and has all the usual:
.15 engine
8 shocks
maxx suspension travel
cool body
rtr
chrome wheels
2wd, wait 2wd?

The new maxx looks like it is gonna replace the 2wd fav. Nitro Stampede. It says it willl do 30 mph and if you add the optional 2spd module it will do 40mph. It is obviously bigger than the nitro pede, but looks like it is gonna solve the N-pedes main problem, The suspension. The pede is one hairy truck at High Speed. Well that will solve it but with a bigger truck. Well the new Sport Maxx is also a convertable. You can in 3 easy steps go to a 4x4 full Tmaxx, you add the rest of the tranny and front diffs and other crap. It looks nice I like the new retro looking wheels. Not a big thing but something I like.

No this isn't a ground breaking, earth shattering truck, but it's gonna sell, and its gonna revive the 2wd market. So while Tamiya, Kyosho, and all the others have been working on 4x4 trx is gonna try to revamp the 2wd market. Does that mean another 3 years before any real competition. And the choice of changing the truck over sounds good for people who dont want to spend the money on a full tmaxx.

You can also add a 2spd with reverse to the Sport Maxx, starting to sound better and 40 mph sounds great, but will they discontinue the N-Pede?

looks like they took the new maxx and made it a 2wd and a single speed.

the next best thing if you cant afford the new t-maxx.

a lot better than a stampede, something for someone who wishes they could afford a t-maxx.
