Nice review. Has Traxxas listed a price on that motor yet?

Somewhere around $200, I think. You can send in a old 2.5 and recieve the new one for $100.

OvalQueen I have been into nitro touring for a while and the only track locally is switching over to dirt. It was about time for me to purchase a new RC anyways and I am torn between a couple of Nitro Off road vehicles. Since you have had some track time with the new T maxx, how dose it compare to other MT's. What I purchase is going too primarily be raced on the track but it will occasionally see a little back yard thrashings. I want something 4wd and I have considered 1/8 buggies but don’t want to spend $450+. My budget is anything under $400, is this new T Maxx for me or should I look elsewhere. Anyways great Review, and some help with my decision would be greatly appreciated.

Bring that Maxx to aero hobbies so I can see it for myself.

Revzrend, you won't be disappointed with the new T Maxx.
I don't have a lot of experience with many of the newer MT's but I hear the Associated MT is something worth considering also. I always tell people that they should buy an RC that their LHS carries all the parts for.

Racerze, I was there yesterday, where were you?

If i was to only buy a RC car that my lhs sold spares for i would not have a car at all.

Most of the shop near me are happy to sell you an rc car but dont stock the spares:rolleyes:
