Kyosho Outrage?! Get yourself Together man, it's the 21'st century, not the '90s :D
I have had a few outrages and currently keep one under my bed. I do have pics, but am too lazy to post them. I have also lit the truck on fire befor too. :)
Hey, his Outrage is pretty cool. All carbon fiber and aluminum. Once he gets his camera working....

Mine is 9 year old. I bought it for 25$ from a friend. It has Traxxas shocks down rear, Kyosho front, aluminum shock towers, hand made aluminum upper deck, no flex baby!
I'm still too lazy for a picture.

An old truck or buggy kyosho used to make, I think they still might. It is very outdated.

outrage mk-2 was a buggy and the outrage st was a truck if memory serves.

I'd post pics of mine but it's not in the mood to be photographed. He's 10 years old and on life support.

and the reason I dont have a gear cover is I used a traxxas compound gear because I didnt feel like buying a whole gear set just to replace one gear and its stronger and bigger but I had to move the gear a little thus the gearcover won't line up right it fits but its tight.
Punctuation is your friend:rolleyes:

I have a Kyosho Ultima Pro. My differential has currently went out of it and I am looking for a used or new complete differential or a whole new transmission. If you have any e-mail me at maxium_mt2001@yahoo.com or post a reply.
Thanks,

hey, i have an old outrage st that has some leaky shocks, and i wanted to just get some new ones... could i get any old shocks to fit? or do they have to be a certain size/length? What determines this? Mounting hardware?

apoc_metal - Duratrax makes some decent shocks that are direct replacements. They're called competition shocks and are gold anodized. Here are the Tower Hobbies part catalog numbers: LXD261 and LXD262 .

Outdated design you said ?
Frankly the only buggy design to be available so long from a race proven model at a discount price ! All other similalrly priced kits just were crap compared to it : Its Ultima parts are extremely valuable !!
See what was possible with my Outrage parts :
Pink Beetle (http://rcsaga.com/beetle)
Xsara (http://rcsaga.com/xsara)
E-ven (http://rcsaga.com/even)
Brute Willys (http://rcsaga.com/brute)
Up to 400W output -> great tranny ! (bb required)
Up to 2.7kg -> great suspension parts and overall durability ! (adjustable rods plz)
Up to 70kph -> great design ! (note the extra strenghtening)
The front train central part is critically weak but not the rest of the Ultima parts / The Outrage specific steering unit is the poorest point : go for a direct steering !
Bye !

I just picked up an Outrage and was wondering about the tire/rim's. I can't seem to find any info on what will fit (brand name) The ones that came with it aren't correct. There has to be other cars that will adapt.
Also, I see truck bodies on the Outrage?? OK I obviously don't know the back ground on this car If someone can bring me up to speed as far as what fits from other cars, bodies, suspension parts etc. I'd appreciate it. :( Thanks.

You must have the buggy. Old ultima's and outrages are mostly the same except for ultimas have a Alum frame. I have a set of wheels with some worn out tires on them if you want them. I'm out of this outrage stuff most of my stuff is in pieces. There was two outrages the truck the ST version and the the outrage buggy with the narrow front wheels.

WOW, Thanks. I'd really appreciate it. I know my way around the older Tamiya Rc's but this buggy (I'm finding out) is very different and getting hard to find parts for. Glad I got a good deal on it. Can the tires still be bought, Any special size or brand? Heck if you want to off load any of your parts that will fit the outrage hit me up. Email me so we can iron out what you may want to get rid of and how much. Kenny. twomymail@hotmail.com
