The new Model Cargo RS5 is the pinnacle of technology for 1/5 racing. Among many other race-bred features, it includes a graphite monocoque chassis and what appears to be a high-performance Samba tuned pipe.

Check www.rcimports.net for further information.

I honestly am not intersted in on-road cars myself, But.....that is sweet! I bet that is one impressive piece of machinery up close. Love that cantelevered suspension.

Is that the same brand as the one I remember you "buying yourself to keep in your stable" in RC Nitro a year or so ago?

I believe you are mistaken with this brand it is by Modelcargo and is called the RS5, it is a very very nice car and the finish is excellent. Modelcargo are also the maker of Samba pipes for 1/5th scale cars and are just about one of the best on the market.

there is something about real hydraulic disc brakes...

the second point on the suspension is for the roll bar this type of roll bar originally came out on the HARM 1/5th scale and is adjustable without having to replace the bar.
Hydraulics are pretty much standard now on 1/5th scale but the best that I have seem so far are from a model shop in Germany Friedel search for modellbau friedel I use these brakes and they fantastic.:D

Thanks for the info. I did confuse this for another car, but I've corrected the listing. :D

If you look at the pics, it does sure look like those are mechical (cable) disc brakes.

when I was talking about hydraulic brakes I meant in general, this car does have cable brakes modelcargo don't have hydraulic brakes but the Aussie importer of the car makes hydraulics for HARM, he makes adaptors to fit on any car and has these brakes on his and a few other RS5's.
