Here is a picture of my latest projects, from smallest to largest
1.Push-E, originally designed as a Free Flight I converted to RC using the RFFS, 140mah LiPoly, and a DD N-20 with a pusher prop from Toy Tronics. Weight came in around 22 grams, but I had to add 2 grams of ballast to the nose because I didn’t like the idea of my RFFS being there.
2.MicroSport designed by Dave Robelen, also uses the N-20, but Geared 5-1 and is the HV version using two polymer cells, RP4 and two pico servos.
3.Pixie, also designed by Dave Robelen, scaled to 30". Powered by the Astro 010 14t and 8 aaa Nimh cells. Get between 10-12 minutes of flight and handles wind better than any other model I have built. Weight is about 10oz.
