I recently got back into RC after about 13yrs out. (I'm from the Grasshopper days) I bought this radio and was wondering how much glitch can I expect from this thing? I'm basically just going to be going to the parking lot and run it around.

Or should I sell it and invest in FM? Is it worth it? I'm not going to get all serious with this hobby and go to the track. It's just something to keep busy and have fun.

I'll be using this on a HPI RS4 Nitro.

If you get into cars like serpents and 1/8 scale cars and trucks u need an FM radio cause theres more glitching because there are more glitch conductors on those cars you can say. but regular 1/10 scale cars like yours that radio is fine, there less of chance of a glitch

The Magnum Jr. is perfectly fine for what you are doing. The only thing I would consider is spending a bit more ($10) for a Magnum because I find that dual-rate adjustment comes in handy...even when just backyard bashing.
