ok so i go out and start driving my maxx on(and off)my street. all was going great and i was having a blast. but in all my fun i frogot to look at the blinking light on my transmetter. well when i hit the troughtal it stuck wide upen for about 150 ft. then hit a wall. see the pics below

OUCH!!! big time... i seen that happen before... i was working at my rc shop... just sittin there... then this guy comes with his tmaxx... not 1, not 2, not 3, not even 4!!!! but parts and parts of a tmaxx... arm here... bumper there... wheel and hex... i mean the whole front end was trash beyond repair... i nearly cried... i suggested putting it to sleep but the owner said fix her... and so began a long week... er month... :D

Yes this is a sad story, ive seen it happen before and i have one message. FOR THE LOVE OF YOU R/C CAR GET A FAIL SAFE!!!!!!!!! They don't cost much when compared to the pics above.

i had a troughtal return spring but i dont think it was hoked up right because i was not sure how to hook it up. now i cant find it so i think it poped off in the crash

Well the only thing I have broken on my rc10 T3 is a rear a arm, then bought the rpm ones. :)

Buy RPM parts, they rock!

RPM doesn't make rear arms for the T3... :rolleyes:

I assume you mean a rear arm mount? ;)
