Yokomo YRX-12 WE thread

I just wante dto see what everybody thought about this car. It was in the "Under the Hood" in the Sept. 02 issue. I just pre-ordered mine, and it looks like only about 100 will be coming to the US. It looks sweet, and should be very competitive. What do you guys think of it?

This is a pic of the TRX-10...looks pretty much standard fare...I like the double deck chassis configuration. Too bad I don't drive pan cars.

Looks like a good kit, basically a 12L with a few changes. I heard it won't perform very well on carpet because the chassis was designed specifically for asphalt (Worlds was on a asphalt track) and it has a lot of flex for more grip. You going to race it? Hobbytown has a lot of them on backorder.

Yea, i will race it. the XXX-S was just not working out, i ran out of money, so the only way to race would be to keep some of my electronics and sell the rest. I will still be racing with the peak hellfire and GM V4. Can you still solder my packs though? i will try to come by to the races soon. Does the 12th scale race on carpet too?

1/12th is best on carpet, you'll need 4 cell saddle packs for that car, there is only a few races left in Ft. Collins, there is a new carpet track opening in Westminister. I can still help with your packs.

Hey Im finally back (aka 007yoshi) I love my yrx12 I race it on carpet too. ANyone have any tips or tricks for setups for on carpet?
