it has been a hard week...the demands of career as well as the wife and a personal life, have all but interfered with the construction of the new bird in the Squadron..

The Brave Young (well not so young to us older farts) Test Pilot
found his resume on the net....couldn't let him go even though he didn't meet the height requirements...
He's been flying all his life...and doesn't even need a chute in case of emergency

Hey, nice looking plane there. Could you give us some specs? Radio equipment? Propulsion*. Where did you buy this thing from? It looks pretty nice! Waiting for flight photos! (no pressure);)

its a Mountain Models "Switchback Sport" by doug binder

it is also available with a 3d wing hence the name ...you can always switch back and forth between wings

3hs-55 servos (it does have a retract gear kit for retrofitting either at initial build or later i do not have the retracts yet)
expert 600 rx (same as JR 610m)
c-10 esc w/break
GWS eps300Cs w/ 10x8 prop (stock set up although a few guys are flying them with astro bl 10)
runs on 600 ae's or 2/3 to 5/4 aaa cells at 8.4 to 9.6 volts
i'll be using both as well as some 8 cell 800mah nimh from
www.allerc.com (great batteries at a agreat price)
span 35.25"
length 28 from spinner to rudder tip
main wing cord 7"
strip ailerons
weight with out battery 8oz
5-6 oz wingloading (depending on the battery)
11.71 oz of thrust at 8.4 volts drawing 9.6 amps (static)

Nice report and pics. Your RBW is a nice plane. I think, still, that you have created the most interesting presentation of all. I have seen pics for almost a year now, but I think your is so outstanding.
I tend to do vanilla, or boring. Keep up the great work anf flying.
BTW, I liked the intro to the flight report too.
