Here's the thing I want to paint a truck body woodland camo style.
I figure spraycans (don't own airbrush)and liquid mask should do the job. I've found green and black spraypaint for lexan but still need sand and/or brown colors.
I can't find these colors though. At least not for lexan.

Would it be really bad to use enamel spraypaint for lexan or would it be a bad misstake?

If anyone knows of sand/brown colored lexan spraypaint, fill me in, I can't find it.

Any help would be welcome,
thanks in advance.

Enamel is bad to use on lexan--it flakes off in the first crash. I found some brown laquer spray paint made by Tamiya at Tower.

Here's the LINK (http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p.pgm?Q=1&I=LXRS47&P=7)

Hope this helps!

I've seen these "TS" paints, my lhs said I couldn't use them for lexan. I might risk it though.

I have heard about using a flat clear coat on the outside to reduce the shine.I have looked for one,but I could only find satin. It would still work well.Good luck!!!

When I did this body (with an airbrush) I took the finished body and scuffed the body - with a set of window masks on the outside of the body - with a scotchbrite so the paint wouldn't look as glossy. It came out great, unfortunately I sent it off befre I took a picture of it like that.
