I wanted to know if I could paint them. I know I can buy them, but I want to make them my own creation. So, what kind of paint can I use? Is it even possible. How should I hold it when painting? Thanx..

If you mean the body clips i dont think paint will really help, it will scrape off pritty easily. If I was heart set on doing it anyway, id use metal paint and ask around for the most durable stuff i could find. You could also see if you could get a killer deal on anodizing do to their size.
Good luck, if you find the secret post it!

I had good luck painting springs with Krylon. Painted the grey primer first then the color I wanted. You could probably get away with doing it this way if you use Associated body clips so they aren't real tight in the post holes. Surprisingly it stuck to the springs very well, I thought it would all chip off the first time the spring was compressed but it didn't.
