You can use a number of different paints but only those for Lexan. Go here (http://www.rctech.net/articles/painting_hauntedmyst.shtml) and scroll down to the paints section. I've listed most of the different paints for R/C cars. I recommed starting out with fascolor.

how good are aerosol propellant cans?? don't think i could afford a compressor for an airbrush at the moment so would be limited to cans.....what kinda psi do these pump out???

The cans are prone to getting really cold under use...when that happens they lose pressure and build up moisture in the airbrush. One thing many modelers have done to prevent this is to keep the can in a pot of hot water. Also don't spray for long periods of time. Take brakes so the propellent can warm up again.
To add to Insp's post...
Do not let the propelant can tip over. I ruined a $10 testors airbrush when it tiped over... It looks cool, as it freezes stuff ( not the warning on the side, "may cause frostbite" ). But it also ruins stuff...

Propellant cans tend to empty pretty quickly. depending on how often you will want to paint a new body, buying can after can can add up to the cost of a simple compressor. just my .02
