what do you guys think of my baja champ. i had some touble with one of the flame masks. it peeled up a bit when i spaterted spraying then it wanted to pull the paint up when i took it off. i think i'm gonna try a xxx body on it next. this body was just a bit too wide. but it was the perfect height. exact opposite problems i had with the assosciated body.
the wing that's on it is just a temporary one that i pulled from the old body. i'm planning on painting the finaly wing the same blue as the rear of the body, just one solid color.

The flames look awesome, the only problem I see is the toe of the front tires?

Looks good!
Little tip: when using pactra cans (im guessing thats what you used) let it dry for at least 24 hours before pulling it up and you may need to take your x-acto over the edge very lightly to cut the paint build up around the mask.

when i redid the shocks i had to move the linkages to the other side of the steering knuckle to get full travel out of it. that added alot of toe. the wheels are turned just abit so it looks like the front is off, fixed that and set it back to normal.
yeah, after the first mask on top i started going over them all with and exacto blade first.

Great paint job!
BTW are you using the xtreme 4" shock tower for the dagger? I was thinking about putting some 4'" shocks on my champ.

yep, the wholes where it meet's the champs shock tower don't line up so it's only mounted by the lower holes. i plan on drilling the extra wholes when i get around to it.
it's pretty strong. i've been using tmaxx shocks and i crashed hard enough to snap the eye off the shock. no damage to anything else.
really helps it's handleing.
did run into problems on where to put the front body post. mine's just glued on for the time being.
