4mm stainless steel rod

I'm looking to replace my drive shaft in my Traxxas Blast and make it longer so I can make it a static drive mount and add a rudder. Can someone tell me where to find a 4mm diameter stainless still rod about 8 inches long? I can cut to length if what you recommend is longer. Thanks.

We have a bunch of small stainless rod here in our shop. I will have to look to see if we have any 4 MM diam.
I think they are 10-14 in. long.
Let me look and see what we have, and I can let you know later today.
