Thanks! It works now. Good luck to you. We started a Parking lot Race Club last year, and have a blast. So far this season, we have been rained or snowed out 4 out of 4 times.
We found that using 4" PVC sewer pipe ($7.00 per 10' length at Home Depot or Lowes) that we have ripped in half on a table saw works great, and sits flat on the ground because of the "U" shape. We also cut 16" diameter dots from 1/4" masonite, attached a piece of 1"x2"x6" pine to attach the pipe works great for the dots at the end of a piece of pipe at a hairpin. Use a router to chamfer the edge, and the cars ride up over the masonite... pait them orange for visability.
We also ripped the 4" pipe fittings in half for connectors..... Tees, 45 and 90 degree elbows. Use sheetrock screws to hold everything together. I can haul the entire track layout of pipe and fittings in my old Bronco II, with the pipe on the roof racks.

Anything for monster trucks? That's all I have right now.

I'll be sure to check it out, though. I live only a couple miles from there.

We try to encourage more family involvement. Anyone 15 and under races free at our Parking Lot races. We run a class of 2 cars to encourage people to come out.

about that 2 in pipe, Home Depot has these 12 foot lengths for 6-7 dollars. I have a lifetime supply of drift tires thanks to them. (but no-onroad to use them with...i miss my tc3)

We get the lighter 4" pvc pipe in 10' lengths, rip it in half lengthwise, and get 20' for $7.00. Besides, the "u" shape gives it more stability than a round piece.

Do you guys have a scoring system? There is a free download available at: rctiming.com

The program is called LapsFree. we use it manually, with keyboard number imput, but it is also compatible with AMB transponders and loop systems.

LOL! I used to live in that neighborhood by there!! haha... FoxFire.... West Over? High School... (never went there, I went to Montgomery Road Elementary School). Used to walk over to McDonalds all the time. Then cross the road and check out the pawn shop and other stores there. Yeah... old memories....

I may show up one weekend just to check it out. It'll bring back old memories being back in the old neighborhood. I guess I'll bring my electric touring car. But not this weekend. Maybe the next race day.. May 6th? As long as it's not on a day Rosewood or Durham races. Anyways... I'll keep checking on here..

Ahhh, the good ole days of parkling lot racing! Reminds me of Chapel Hill. Anyways, was there a race today? I just got back from a race in West Virginia. Had I made it back sooner, I would have headed out there. Let us know how things went!
