• Motor can be mounted on either the left or right side of the chassis
• Main chassis, upper deck and battery strap are made out of thick black woven carbon fiber
• Machined purple anodized aluminum motor mount with traditional 2 screw mounting for more adjustability with pinion and included spur gears. (6 spur gears included 70,72,74,76,78,80)
• Adjustable slipper clutch is easy to tune by simply using the included wrench to tighten or loosen the dual slipper pads and plates without disassembling any part of the car

WOW! looks beautiful. And light!! Definitly something to look into. Are the rock guards clear lexan on the kit, or are they just clear for that pic?

That is a clear lexan undertray that protects the bottom of the chassis, wouldnt want to mess up that "PERTY" Carbon Fiber , plus the lexan is more slippery then the carbon fiber so this helps the car accelerate after landing big jumps!

I like the fact that you can mount the motor on either side of the chassis. And I also like the adjustable chassis brace. In fact, this buggy looks very adjustable in gereral. Threaded shocks would have been nice to see though.

V2 Pro

That is nice looking 4WD. For the price of 359.99 and all of the tuning features it has, it can not be beat. I think this will be a great addition to this class.

Great Job MRC

That looks beautiful. Oh man... I've always wanted a 4wd buggy. Isn't there a "base" model of this buggy out? How much does that sucker run?

You betcha its light. I have the sb v2 with the carbon conversion kit and its awesome. I'd say at least half of the people that pick up my V2 mention how light it is.

Sawweeet. I think I remember seeing it on here not too long ago (maybe a year or two ago?). It was a nice looking buggy. These academy buggys are pretty good looking IMO, and for the price...it looks like you get some serious stuff on this "pro" model.

DirtKing: The std version of the V2 you can find on the street for around $200.00 the new SBV2 PRO edition you should be able to find right around 300.00.

STORMER HOBBIES just placed there initial order for these kits. You might want to give them a call and pre-order them...they will be moving fast!

These 4x4 buggies are nice, but why is there never a 4x4 electric truggy? I been waiting for one to be made, and it looks like the wait is not over.

Um, I thought academy made a 1/10th 4x4 truggy? I've seen them advertised on the back of magazines.

edit: nevermind...checked their products, all the 1/10th truggy are nitro. A shame...brushless power would make for a cleaner, faster and quiter land missle.

Who made the press release ? I don't think they meant to use the word "infamous", that is all.

this thing is awesome...but why do they cost sooo much. Im in high school and comming up with that amount of money takes a long time for me. Ive always wanted a 4wd buggy. Ive been considering getting the sb carbon (the old "pro" version). does anyone know if thats a good buggy? its just that 4wd buggies cost so much!!

I agree an electric truggy would be reeeeaaaaallllllllllyyyy sweet. with brushless power they would really scream.
