Someone tell Spektrum they need to fire their stylist. Stevie Wonder would be able to tell you that transmitter is fugly!

I kinda like the look and I'm sure the quality is great. However, there is NO excuse for a hard plastic wheel on ANY hobby grade transmitter. Even the cheap traxass AM has a foam pad on the wheel!

ill second that. but iv got a reason for it. my hands sweat like crazy (and for no reason, even when they're cold) a plastic wheel simply doesn't work, i can't get a good solid consistent grip on it. as a kid i used to have to wrap the radios of my non hobby grade RC's in hockey tape so i could us them. and iv had a few hobby grade radios in the past that iv had to wrap the handles on.
not a fan of plastic wheels

This is cheaper than the Traxxas systems. Even cheaper than the 2-channel AM systems are 50 bucks for a transmitter. This is only $5 more and is DSM. So I do understand the cheapness overall. Plus, it's included with a cheap vehicle. So it's not exactly going to be high end or even necessarily midrange.
What I don't understand is why Spektrum needs ANOTHER system. They have how many?
DX2E
DX3E
DX3C
DX2S
DX3S
DX3R Pro
That's 6 I count...
Why, Horizon? Why? lol
