New from Grand Prairie, TX, USA
Hi, I just joined and looking forward to being able to contribute to the forum. I started building and flying control line when I was 8. My first airplane, which we never forget, was a Sterling Ring Master with a McCoy 35 Red Head. I think I paid $3.95 for the kit and $8.95 for the McCoy 35. I crashed the plane on the first flight, but repaired it and flew it again and again. Back then 1958, we didn't have the internet, but we did have M.A.N. In 1972 I joined the Fort Worth Thunderbirds in Fort Worth, TX and started flying R/C.
I love the hobby, love building, love flying my creations.
