Panel Line Pen

I want to put panel lines on my P-47 and picked up a Top Flite panel line pen. It seems to be just like a standard Staedtler pen and is not immuned to the effect of rubbing alcohol. I doubt it is fuel resistant like it says on the pen. Does anyone know what clear coat can be used to protect the lines from the nitro fuel and not smear the lines due to the solvent in the clear coat?
