Lehner 5300 and Warrior running on 6-8 cells. Awesome power/speed, and the tire balloonage is crazy!

Hacker C40-8S and Hacker Master car controller.

No problem with it. I run off-road and on-road. Raced a few time this summer and perform as well as a RC10GT.

This setup is in a RC10T3 factory team.

novak ss in L4, talk about fast!!!

we have to run them in sportsman mode on concrete oval, or they will spin the tires all the way down straight!!!
with the direct drive and light weight it will fly. we are faster than the nitro touring cars on oval, actually we are the fastest class that our track runs!!!

I currently own a Hacker Master Comp, Lehner 1920/5, and a Lehner 5300 (i think it's broken, it feels like something is catching when I spin it).

I've owned a Hacker Master Sport, B50 8s, and a Lehner Warrior 4018.

Yes, the Motor is broken down, mine does exactly the same, do not use it, the damage to every thing is great, do try to open it, to throw away the broken Magnet parts, or throw away the full Motor, as i did !!
(this is one bad thing for LMT Motors)
(shall i send you pics from the opened Motor of a 1520 ??)

Yeah, that's kinda what I figured. What happened was the mounting screws I used were too long and I punctured the copper wiring on the inside.

I've already seen the inside of my old B50 8s (it was smashed but that's a long story). Thanks for the offer though.

Isn´t it a damn thing, only forgotten once to screw in the right depth, then having ruined a very exp. motor ??
I was really VERY ANGRY about this, now the magnets have been destroyed, as they where hydrated, and becoming little crispy, the material broke of the rotor easily, the rotor is not turnable anymore, i think it is a total waste of money, this motor (i´m very glad that it was the only one !!!) has NEVER EVER functioned properly, my next Motors are all Hacker, as the price is lower here in germany, and Quality is better, only for some special projects (like the huge 6th buggy) i will use LMT, as they do offer the wider range of products.
I will throw away the motor sooner or later, now i´ll keep it for showing people what they NOT should do . . . . ;-)

List of motors from slowest to fastest:

Lehner Basic xl 3100 (for slow crawling in e-maxx)
Hacker B50 8s (sold cuz it was weak)
Lehner Basic 4200 (not for car - for my helicopter)
Hacker B50 6s (sold, slower than basic 5300!!!)
Lehner Basic 5300 Great for Emaxx 12 cells!
Lehner 1515 6 turn (super high rpm, fun to listen to at 9 cells - pulling almost 100,000 rpm)
Hacker C40 6 turn (sold, I have too many high rpm motors)
Lehner 1920 5 turn (beast of a motor. Ran it with 12 cells on e-maxx and the thing was flying. Ran it with 6 in xxx-s and it was FAST)

Controllers:

Hacker Master Sport (sold, slight lag and not enough power)
Lehner Micro 1895 (even with new software, cogs like crazy and brakes fade really quickly. Never buy this again)
Schulze 12.97 fwe (great, but need more power handling)
I wanna get a Hacker Master competition next...
