Hacker C50 vs. Novak HV

I have been debating this for a while. I just bought a hacker C50 and schultz 18.61 controller for like $450. What I dont want to happen is Novaks over $100 cheaper Brushless et-up be faster than mine. I noticed on the hacker you have to have super short battery wires and motor wire because it draws so much juice. I saw on the Novak ESC it has TAMIYA plugs, there is no way your going to get any more than stock power through Tamiya plugs, what do you say? I am running 14 matched 3000 HV cells BTW, and IF the novak does magically become faster, I may be able to find a couple cells laying around...hehehe...

SO what is your take?
