the best car chasse i can think of is yankee 1/4 FORMULA F1 if you can find one, put in a KTM 50 motor modifed of course, and your good for 150 and up, i would bet more than beer ?? and this combo would safer than jet ????
had to break up and make it short my comp keeps shutting down, well anyway that F1 car from yankee would be very hard to beat its 1100mm maybe to long sooo, if i had the money to spend this is what i would get, this car is made for HIGH SPEED out of the box???????????
for those that dont no you can pull damnear 20HP from a 2 stroke 50 motorcycle motor air cooled, almost the same size 22 to 30 weed beater motor, no that would not be cheap, but can be easily done, ????
The ktm 50 motor is only 6 hp. It would move a car but 150 is stretching it kinda far.

as far as car choice i can think of no better out their, this car was good to 60 mph with a tail wind, 22cc no power motor, turnforce steering ,no servo , just ready for a HI PRO MOTOR, if you dont think the motorcycle guys got you covered with HP, look at the boat guys b.h Hanson ,MATHE,quickdraw, the power is there??????????

Im with thunder.at first it sounded like this guy knew what he was talking about then he starts asking whether it will work and then asks for critisism or however you spell it these days.It may work but how will you fit the motor under the body?How will you make the little engine shift?i wouldn't be suprised if someone would make it work but can't you decide whether you think its worthwhile?Finally, do you really need a dirtbike motor all bored and stroked???I think if you put a G230RC engine from Zenoah into a 5th scale and change the gear ratio you could put down some good numbers.Just my dumb ol' opinion.
