I'm running a stock CEN TR-4, its got a huge .16 and a 2 speed where you can hear it change gears, it also has a cool AM radio, its so cool that when it gets up to speed the vibrations mess up the receiver so that the steering jerkes left and right.

anyways sarcasme aside i am doubtful that many people will tell what they are racing as its a very secretive event.... but i am not afraid....i have a TR-4.....

Watch out!

supercharger traxxas nitro 4-tech

here is what ia m going to be racing in about 2 years, i am going to be working on this 4-tech over winter anyways here is the list of stuff i am going to get for it.

- Rb innovation custom super charger
- jag r/c custom nitrouse oxide system
- traxxas tuned pipe and header
- Rb innovations air intake
- rb innovation hypervalve fuel system
And to top it off i am going to be running traxxas's new 33% nitro, and
i am going to get the engine ported and polished. And for great stopping power i will have to buy a graphite disk brake or rig a parachute to it. And i figure this 4-tech will be like no other 4-tech ever. It will probably hal you know what. I figure it will go 150 plus mph. and 0-60 in about 2 seconds and it will run about 60,000 rpm.

Lets see what you people have to say about my idea, i will be the world record holder for nitro cars

Yeah, the only thing that will be going 150mph is the engine head when it blows off the engine...Nitrous on these isn't a good idea.

Hey I just thought of an idea. What if you were to take a small tank of pure oxygen and rig it up to run half out side air and half pure O2. For one the air would be forced into the engine.
What do you guys think do you think it would run better with pure oxygen

I am hoping to pick up the chassis next week and will start on the power system as soon as I fabricate the drive train that can withstand close to 50 hp. Aerodynamics will be the last thing and the easiest part to work out for whatever track they choose, it will adapt to it with full adjustablity to either high downforce oval or a low drag straight a way!

There's no classification for remote controlled bombs I'm afraid

No but seriously, oxygen is too dangerous to mess with, and you going to put that on a nitro engine? Don't even think about it, the moment you start it up the tank will explode.

I am sure that it will simply pierce through the piston. Let alone the fact that you can't just let it flow with the fuel, you will have to make your own head for the engine and design a way to spray the nitrous. Like tec 41 said, don't bother.

First .....
How many feet does it take you to reach 97 miles per hour with the super nitro rs4 .......?

Second Question.....
How do you manage to keep the car from going airborne at those speeds? The Toyota GT-1 Body is very unstable at highspeeds .... *Heck* I couldn't go past 75 without going sky high...

Third
What type of tire compound are you using (Foam, Rubber)???

Your post brings back memories ...... I miss my Super Nitro

My Super back in the day yr.2002........!!!!

Spec:
Engine: SX21 Novamega EVO5MS
Pipe: 9886 RB Black Coated
Gear Box: 1st.19/41 2nd.23/37 sometimes 24/37
Tires: RJ Rides 35 Hards 4x
Body: GT-1

I retired mine due to the reason I never found a rubber tire solution that was sturdy enough to handle speeds over 70 miles per hour. I got tired of spending $$$$ on tires and broken body shells from tires exploding..... lol OH WELL ... !!!

Lol don't wory about me blowing Apostolis I was just thinking. I was just thinking about how nitrous work and it has to do with the breaking down of Nitrogen and **Oxygen** and it just came to my mind what if you ran pure O2 to begain with. Why would it blow up though? Oxygen *is not flamable* it only helps things burn, so how would it blow up? Now the engine would probbly fry.
Dosn't matter any way, im not going to try.

Cant keep it cool long enough

When it comes to trying Nitrous or injecting O2,there isn't any glow plug on the planet that will not pop after it turns white hot around 10 seconds of glory!

I plan on running something nitro powered. I don't want to give away exactly what I'm working on, but the big challenges are going to be the tires and getting horspower to the gound. When you're running at lust 100 mph, the car is moving at 150 feet per second. It's only a matter of seconds before the car is a small spec on the horizon and in danger of going out of radio range. So, it doesn't really matter if it's in a straight line, putting power to the ground FAST is going to be paramount. It will be interesting to see what everyone comes up with.
