I think that should be allowed to enter just for the cool factor. Of course it wont count.

If the event were to switch to a dragstrip I would like to see thrust powered vehicles be allowed, but in a separate class than wheel driven vehicles.

Let's not forget, an organized multi entrant event such as this one is not required to claim the record. When I claim the record ( ) with my wheel driven car, there's nothing preventing anyone from fulfilling the Guiness rules and grabbing the record with a thrust powered vehicle the next day. We wouldn't even know about it until the book came out.

If you can't beat them, join them.

Mine will be 40" for sure. Even at that it will be a tight fit.
