why dont us aussies have a speed run

why not have aspeed run here to see who comes 1st 2nd 3rd. then get your 1st 2nd 3rd from your speed run. and get japans 1st 2nd 3nd from there drome insane speed run. get them to gether to run in a world fastest speed run because you cant realy classafid the worlds fastest rc car unless u have a worldly event. you dont need to have it to gether you could get a guinuss record official at each event to be jugde and jury and thats a way to doing it.

I think its because the owner of this website is a publisher and consequently this event is being run in for its own interest and for that of its readers. That said theres nothing stopping you from having your own speed run.If you think you have a record breaking car, then suggest you speak to guiness records.

kind regards

Sounds cool, but where would we hold it?

I'm sure we could hire a drag strip for a day.....it costs a couple of grand though!

I'm building my own speed machine soon, a super 1/10 scale with some sort of crazy big block, but it probably wont go anything above 140km/h..

Nothing against you Aussies, but last time I saw an Aussie speed test, in involved lighter fluid and a beer bottle on a frozen surface. You guys know how to party!! Ahhh, great memories of partying with Aussies and Kiwi's, you guys are great!
