schools

how many schools are in this, because i wanna start my school into this its not a big school and pry wont be more 5-6ppl in it and i have eletronics and good rc knowledge but i dont think i could do this alone that why i wanna convince a teacher 2 help me with this stuff and i figure we could have fundraisers or something 2 pay our way

lol thats a good question. I wish my school was cool enough to enter this compentation. It took me about 42 periods to find someone else who used R/cs but after that he was the only person who I found. My school cant enter something cool like this but theyll enter not cool science competations. Kinda a drag, but school will never be fun, let alone have something R/c related. If my school had this competation Id actually look foward to going to school.

My school sucks to. We've got over 100,000 in CNC'ing equipment and its never used. Its bull.

I have a couple of friends that are into nitro rc cars, about 3 others than myself and we hold races in my neigborhood (My neighbors hate me lol) If i had some money and lived closer i would go, but that aint happening. My school will spend 100000 bucks on new computers they will never use and will just be sold in 3 years, but they say that they do not have enough money to send us to California even if we pay the hotel bills. Isnt that dumb. And my school will also pay a bunch of money to send a bunch of writers in our school to Florida for a writing contest for all the nerds, but will not give us some money to build a car and go to california.
