178,04 km/h (111.14 mph) measured with a Stalker PRO Radar Gun on October 9 2004

I raced today with a new Lehher motor and new softer PMT tyres
and a better tuned front wheel suspension
and all the 32 batteries far to the back,
and
the Stalker PRO radar gun showed 178,4 km/h (111.14 mph).

Chris Lett's record is 111 mph measured with the same type of radar gun.

I guess I beat the record with 0.14 mph.

The radar gun angle was bad as we wanted it to be safe for the person handling the radar gun. This car has some more potential.

I do not have any pictures of the radar gun speed until mid next week as they have to be developed first.

Thanks.
No,
the Guiness People were not there.

I di not think that the Guiness people are participating on that many records from their book.
According to the info on their web site one can send in the necessary proofs of a record and then get the record if the paper work is in order.

Nice job Sigurd, looks like you've only scratched the surface of your car's potential.

This reminds me of the ridiculous assertion several people on this board have made that 1/10 scale cars have no disadvantages against 1/5 scale cars in this contest. I wonder what they're up to now.

isn't one of the rules that the body has to have a cockpit of sorts? a place that looks like a guy could sit? fromt he pics i found on your site, it doenst look like it has one, just pointing that out so you dont build it and get htere and then not be legal, if you already have plans to add that then never mind,
