I came across a cheap, yet effective material to balance your planes, when I trimmed the wings, rudders, of my park flier (interactivetoy Burner, wings trimmed by 1.5inches, rudders by 1.0 inch, crashed a thousand times, split in half twice, held together by elmers and red tape, running 100mah bigger battery, now very squirilly, rocks in the wind, turns on a dime, dive speed doubled, jettisons props on landing, great fun!!, now goes by the monikor "lucky", see my username

) and I found it necessary to add weight to the nose...
Being an auto technician, I brought home some stick-on weights, the kind used on every alloy wheel these days. These are .25 oz (7 grams), made of lead, very thin, can be cut with dull sissors, and have an adheisive backing!!
They are tailor-made to our sport, where space is limited, and prove to be a useful airplane tuning device!!!
Just strike up a friendship with your friendly neighborhood auto mechanic, and I'm sure he will "float" you a few of these...
Hope this helps...
