Cavalieri Joins Associated

Longtime Losi racer and podium regular Ryan Cavalieri will be making the switch to the A-Team for the remainder of the 05’ season. Pudge will run both gas and electric cars for Associated, but no change-ups are planned in the power department: he's sticking with Trinity motors and batteries and Sirio engines. Ryan's racing schedule should be booked pretty solid, as he is also running an Inferno 777 for Kyosho. Associated, Trinity, Sirio, Kyosho...that’s a lot of T-shirts to pack.

I guess my first question is what is he going to run in 4wd since AE doesn't officially have one

If I worked at MRC, I'd try to get him on the Academy SB4 Pro! But a JConcepts BJ4 makes the most sense. Closest thing to an AE 4-wheeler.

I was waiting for something to go AE's way and this is definitely good news for them. Picking up the young guns is what they need. Tebo is cleaning up at all the races and having Cavalieri is huge. This definitely makes up for Easton.

BTW Benny - Travis was already with AE awhile ago and switched to Losi.

Oh good news! Now everyone else will have a better chance of placing 1st since it will be harder for Ryan to be there now with an AE!

^^^ Ditto! ^^^ Personally, I'm happy to see that AE picked up another good offroader. Tebo has been kickin it lately, but AE has really been lacking in the offroad department. Despite my screen name, I'm not a die hard AE fan. I also race 1/12 scale carpet, but with a CRC carpet knife. Still It should be nice to finally see some competition out there for Losi in the Offroad Scene. Nothing better than the Losi AE rivalry.

Well looks like AE will continue PWNING in the 1/10 gas truck class at the ROAR nationals. heck, maybe they will sweep the mod nats this year for once (BJ4 winning would pretty much be a win for AE)

Your acting like Billy betrayed you or something Is it so wrong to look out for yourself once in a while?

Put it this way, racers don't make a lot of money [very little actually] so if another company [rival or not] offers you more money, what do you think that you would do?

I'm not sure why Ryan switched teams, but I'm sure that it was for all the right reasons. This is gonna be an exciting offroad season

Glad to see AE picked up a great racer! Since he will be running for AE most likely he will wheel the BJ but I doubt MRC / Academy wouldn't welcome him with open arms!

Associated needs to restablish their team after the horrible race result of the preceeding year. Ever since Easton won the worlds, it seems Ae has lost some momentum to the newer faces in racing. Tamiya is building quite the arsenel so is Kyosho and HPI.

I hope these changes bring better luck to AE but I have a gut feeling Ryan will leave his old buddies at Trinity soon as well.....

wow, I thought i was pushing it when I got Trinity and tekin , but how many sponsores does HE have again?

Ryan is a good driver, but he did get served at winter rage here in Vancouver WA, by the one, the only, Jeff Phelps. Hes an awsome driver as well, but good Luck Ryan, and keep up the good driving Bro.
