East Coast Crew Rocks 1/18 Nats

The first-ever 1/18th Scale Truck Nationals was held this weekend at RC Madness in Enfield CT. Eric Desrosiers (the guy with the flourescent light stuck in his head) took home first place in the 4WD Stock and 4WD Mod classes with his Associated RC18T, while Mark Smyka (far left) dominated 2WD Stock and 2WD Mod with his Losi Mini-T. Other winners of the weekend included Rich Johnson (1/10 Stadium Truck), Zack Barry (Novice), Jeff Wineholt (Castle Creations 4WD Brushless),Tim Mohr (Brushless and Mini Monster), and Neil Dickey (E-Maxx). Good racin’ guys, and a big thanks to RC Madness’ Chris Marcy and Team Associated for putting the race together.

Yep, there's more to this guy than RC. That's why he's awesome.

Jeff is a pimp but what's he doing with my Red Bull girls?? I think the guys and gals at Madness did a great job. This years racing being the Second National improved a lot! The track was better and lots more racers too. I can't wait to see what they throw at us next year! The sponsors hooked everyone up as well. Thanks Guys! It was great to be able to talk with the industry people about thier products. I had a great time even with my DNF's!!!

Thanks for a great weekend!!!!

Rob Cocco

P.S. Tim Mohr is a pimp too

That was a really fun race. That was also the first time i saw the back room where 2/3 the people pit. Best race I've been too besides all the downtime. Good job Chris. Again
