Spashett Joins Tamiya
Looks like Tamiya is beefing up its already strong TRF squad. David Spashett has just signed with the Big T, where he will current IFMAR TC Champ Marc Rheinard. No shakeups in the power department for David; he's sticking with Peak motors and batteries.

I goofed! I took out the reference to Surikarn. Who else does Tamiya have for drivers now? I wonder if I should also take out the "already strong TRF squad" bit!

Well, they also hired Andrew Cartwright, and still have a strong team in Japan...

Look under at the Tamiya USA website under TRF. You'll see the whole Tamiya USA team including Rick Hohwart. I'm not sure who all is on the Euro and Asian Teams. But of courser you have MS (Satoshi Maezumi) and a few other Japanese drivers. I'm thinking Steen is still with Tamiya. I can't remember who else though....

Yes, Steen (Graversen) is still with Tamiya. I think he has high hopes for the Euros on his home soil this summer.
