Molzer Mowery FG 1/6 Stadium Truck

FG's sleek stadium shell covers the same Bigfoot chassis and 8-shock suspension used by the 1/6 Monster Truck and Monster Beetle Pro.

Molzer Mowery has also announced a new "Ultimate RTR" package that includes a Sensor radio system, high-torque digital steering servo, coreless-motor high-torque throttle servo, and a 6V receiver battery with charger.

Still looks as funny as all the other Euro-buggies out there, nothing revolutionary. Very limited suspension travel, chunky and not very scale looking. I'm disappointed that a company that I've always thought had their finger on scale realism with their onroad cars couldn't do the same for their offroad line.

Yeah... I agree that their off-road vehicles look a bit of low-tech. It just make the new HPI 5B look very very slick.

I think these type of vehicles are perfect if they are ultra low maintainance, near indestructible and used for commercial R/C rental tracks. I really can see no other use for them. They are too large to transport or race cost effectively for the masses and thus will never catch on in substantial numbers.

At a Disneyland or similar amusement park they would be awesome!!!!

Yeah cause scale realism is so important in the world of RC. Look at the aasociated RC10. That is a scale model of a...Oh wait well how about the Losi cars the JRXT is perfect scale model of a .... well maybe those are bad examples. Or maybe RC has always been function over form. Tamiya and HPI are the only companies that make scale bodies, and the scale ones that they make are not very popular because they don't perform as well as the bodies that are tweaked for racing. If you are looking for scale realism, stick with model trains or diecast.

I have the fg bigfoot I really think it is pritty close to looking like a scale truck. These thing are really reliable after all they are 2-stroke oil and gas not nitro crap. I got so fed up with all my nitro's having to be constantly tunes I sold them all and bought a fg big foot. All you do is add gas no temp to worry about or running out of nitro fuel on a saturday or sunday or even week night for that matter and not having a hobbie store open to buy more. I agree the big foot is a little clunky and has limited suspension travel but it can really take a beating and the thing is just stupid fast with out the two speed. Other than replacing the plastic gears with steel ones I have not had any problems.

Can anyone give me some insight on the XTM Grizzly? I know its under a million different names, just wondering if it is half as good as the FG Bigfoot.

I have a Grizzly, FG Bigfoot, Marder Race, Bergonzonni, Monster Buggy, FG Stadium, J&A Racing Mamba T3 Offroad, Raco 1/4 scale, and I intend on getting the Hpi Baja, as well as the Power Racing 4WD RTR 1/5 Monster. I think 4WD will bring a new light to large scale racing. I have been trying to become a distributor for MCD for quite a while now and have been unsuccessful. Apparently the company is not interested in sending me the products, though they list me as their distributor.

Yes Sir that is next on my list of things to get. I bought the HPI Baja 5b and now im in the process of getting rid of all my nitro and electric models to purchase another 1/5 scaler. I love the look of this truck. Scale realism or not its fine lookin to me. This would kill my Baja with a jet pro pipe and a two speed, handleing maybe another challange cause the baja handles nicely. Everyone is screamin "but there so expensive" show me a nitro owner that doesnt have at least 1 grand in their nitro car/truck/buggy what ever, batteries fuel support equipment starters aluminum bling bling all that stuff adds up quickly and its all to make the vehicle as reliable as a large scale model. My .02
