Kyosho to appear on "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition"

This just in from Kyosho...

Jan. 22, 2006 - “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition,” one of America’s most popular network television shows with approximately 15,000,000 viewers, will be featuring Kyosho products during an upcoming episode of this uplifting reality-based series that helps deserving families from across the country.

The Hebert family of Sandpoint, Idaho is a recent target of the do-good cast of thousands of workers, designers and friends that helped to transform their half underground “berm” house into a beautiful new home. The family was struck with tragedy when Francine Hebert, the mother of twins Kyler and Keeley, passed away from a heart attack at just 37. The twins were rescued from having to go into foster care by Francine’s younger brother, Eric Hebert.

“Extreme Makeover: Home Edition” contacted former ROAR President Rick Wilson in search of some high-quality RC gear, who then referred them to Kyosho America. Working together with the “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition” staff, and with a huge amount of help from John Billig of RCP Tracks, Kyosho America was able to be part of this life-changing project for this deserving family. Tune in when the Hebert’s new home is revealed to see just how Kyosho is part of this remarkable transformation when the show airs for the first time on January, 22, 2006 at 8/7c on ABC.

Thanks to ABC, “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition,” Rick Wilson, and the tireless efforts of John Billig and family for helping make Kyosho part of this episode of “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition.”

The staff of Kyosho America is honored to be a part of such a worthy cause.

*** Show airs Sunday, January 22, 2006 at 8/7 central on ABC. ***
For more information about these and other Kyosho vehicles featured on
“Extreme Makeover: Home Edition,” please visit the Kyosho America website at: www.kyoshoamerica.com/emhe

“Extreme Makeover: Home Edition” is produced by Endemol USA, a division of Endemol Holding. David Goldberg is the president of Endemol USA. The series is executive-produced by Tom Forman. The show airs Sundays (8:00-9:00 p.m. ET), on the ABC Television Network.

Watch the show all the time, even saw Ty (the host) drive a store bought one once...this could be dangerous with one that can actually go fast!

Should be good!!

I'm gonna watch this one. Lol, I even watched some nickelodeon show because they had HPI sprints on there(for like 2 minutes!). Then I saw r/c on some tuner channel on the mens channel(a outdoors type show). But, my favorite was on NASCAR nation where my favorite driver was doing the Indy challenge for RC driver...Michael Waltrip.

That is SO totally awesome. That show is great, what they do for families. One of the few shows that makes you feel good. It's gonna be great publicity for the R/C industry. Can't wait to watch it. Double cool!

since the host of the show is holding a kyosho preflex radio don't expect to much from kyosho. With RCP tracks involved I'm betting on mini z and half 8's.
