Latest Tamiya mini buggy: The Fox!

TamTech-Gear is Tamiya’s new genre of R/C buggies that are compact in size, yet packed with power and high performance. The third release is based on the classic R/C Fox, and features a campy blue and grey color scheme. Lightweight 2WD chassis features 4-wheel independent friction damped suspension with fully adjustable shock angle positions. Adjustable slipper clutch and full ball bearings secure optimum transmission efficiency. Ball differential, rear-wheel drive train and universal drive shafts included as standard parts mean that the TamTech-Gear Fox is much more than just your average mini-R/C car.


About the Model
Compact-sized and ready-to-run 2WD electric R/C off-road buggy.
Racing-ready chassis features 4-wheel independent suspension.
High efficiency 370 size electric motor, rear wheel drive train and overall lightweight structure provides extended running time of more than 30 minutes.
Includes compact ESC, receiver and servo and 2-channel wheel type transmitter (Expec SP).
Full ball bearings for improved transmission efficiency.
Polycarbonate body shell features design patterned after Tamiya’s Fox R/C buggy.
Requires battery and charger. (included)
Full lineup of option parts available.


RTR ELECTRIC XB KITS REQUIRE:
Battery: 6-cell flat with standard Tamiya connector
Charger: AC/DC timed or peak for 6-cell battery

Neat! Now bring back the Wild One so I can relive my days of beating down Foxes!

Also, I think it's kind of cheesy that it hardly is a Fox besides the paint scheme. They needed to at least keep the laydown single front shock. It was really a hallmark of the Fox design.

thats just the mini frog with the fox body.typical tamiya.

Just like the Mini Frog, it bears no similarity to the original other than the body. It is Tamiya capitalizing on their classic brands of the past. I am sure these are great vehicles, but give them new names and leave the great vehicles of the past alone.

i would agree it would be cool to make a mini version of the classics just not the body but none the less still cool.
