IFMAR 1/8 Off-Road Worlds

Mark Pavidis is TQ at IFMAR WORLDS!

When our guy gets his internet access sorted out, we'll have our own coverage (fingers crossed!). But for now, our friends at www.neobuggy.net have got pics and the qualifying order. Kyosho/Pro-Line's Mark Pavidis is TQ! Photo above courtesy of NeoBuggy and Mike Meyers.

Go Kyosho!!! I so Hope they win it, just to prove that the 2 year old design is still the best! Well done to Scott Hughes and Yannick too.

hi, i'm French !

Congratulations to Mark Pavidis, but i really think that your Yannick is stronger ! four french drivers in 1/2 finals !

if yannick drive as well , with no troubles i really think he would be world champion, european an world champion this year, it would be so great ....

But i adore kyosho cars......... so wait an see.........go yannick, go !

Man, hope the track keeps falling apart - maybe we'd sweep the top 5! As it sits, we've got four drivers in the top 5 after qualifying - GREAT JOB US!!!!!

Ha, also note, the 3 top 5 USA drivers... using a japanese engine, not an Italian stallion engine.

After the first round of qualifying, Mark was the provisional TQ with the fastest run, followed by Chad Bradley in second. The new OS Speed “V-Spec” is expected to be available to the public by early next year.

Doesn't really prove the design is still the "best".

As far as USA goes it's great if we take the title. On the manufacturing side, I personally don't think this worlds can say that a 2 year old design is still the best when the latest design from losi and their best drivers are not there because of travel advisories.

How the Losi design does on the local and national scene means more to me anyways.

Pavidis dropped down to 9th too in the opening laps but fought his way back to the front! XRay were running strong too , leading for most of the race until a flameout dropped Aignion down in the last 10 mins!

But definitely a deserved win for Mark!
