Pretty sweet. $80 for it is not too bad if its gonna be decently quick.

I would like to see a few chassis shots as well. I can't imagine the packaging?! This is funny, RC is getting smaller and smaller, just as cell phones. Very neat, but I don't suppose there is any word on pricing, is there?

Read 2 posts up.
Horizon Hobby listed it at $80 and a November release.

That is soooo wicked! I definitely want to get 2 for my son and myself. We were going to buy XMods or something similar to race in the house... since 1/18th is too fast and large for that purpose... this is the key to some killer at home racing... in the family room, den, you name it!

I can't imagine working on this thing. I can barley wrap my fingers around the small screws and other small parts from my other mini's. But definitly cool! You can set up a track right on your coffee table. Watch nascar and race micro T's at the same time. This is the one time your girlfreind can say "oh how cute" about your rc car.

1/18 scale is way big for indoor play, but this looks perfect! Can't wait to see it in person at the Chicago iHobby show.

THIS is just friggin' cool. I was contemplating an 1/18 or 1/16 vehicle, but figured they're "too small" to run outside where I live, but too large to run indoors. This is like, a perfect medium!
My cats are SCREWED....

but it costs a bit too much for something THAT small!
Do you think they will release hop-ups?

It's kind of odd that it's an off-road car and I really can't see it handling any sort of outside terrain.

Pretty neat - I never saw this coming either.
As for ElectricThunder, your cats are gonna PWN it
Would be a lot of fun. I wonder if the receiver is seperate? Does it use plugs like those on full-size electronics (I'm getting ideas.... )
Sure sticks it to the ZipZaps though
