Ah, FINALLY! Competition for the MRS4 and M18
I won't be surprised if it blows the doors off both though
*edit* ... that also means you can use that body on the MRS4 and M18.. assuming they're the same~ish wheelbase

It says on the Castle Creations website that a Mamba will run 4-12 NiCad/NiMH or 2-3 LiPo. I would like to see it on a Lipo.

Heh. and still dominate on only 4 cells. Impressive, really. I'll stick to my micro RS4 for now, as I'm not looking for another car... but I really like this design and the fact that theres another 1/18th on the market, which means more competition and more variety in racing! (not that I race, but still )
A mamba in this thing would be ballistic

This car looks pretty hot to me as well. I don't know about Mamba-fying it, but....... oh who am I kidding!!! It is funny how some major manufacturers have their own colors. Associated has blue, HPI has purple, these guys have red, Tamiya has.... blluuee... You know what I mean!

I saw that on a Japan website and thought it was another 1/12th! Way cool looking though and glad it's a 1/18th though 4 cell I don't know...most the guys running 1/18th out here are running 5 cell or LiPoly. As for the body I doubt it will fit the MRS4 or the XRay because their front suspension is to high. However that does mean the PTI Porsche 956 will probably fit cut down to a better height.

Question: Is it possible to mount standard bodies on this? I love the design, but really like having sedan type bodies. Thanks.

^^ Was that BRP - with the SC18? (edit - guess not )
Well, looks good. The 4-cell thing seems kinda underpowered, but we'll have to see it in action before we can really make a judgement on the power of this little guy.
One thing I just realized - no bumper! That graphite may not tolerate mamba-fied crashes

These could make great indoor racers. Cheap to run and very fast on the carpet. Just a shame they didn't come to the market two years ago when micro was at it's peak.
