I appreciate you laying out the red carpet for me and its an honor covering the race for Car Action.

Now to business. This years Proline Maxx Challage looks to be gearing up for some heavy action judging by its 180 plus entries, 17 races, and dialed track layout. Todays practice offered the early birds a good taste for what the track has to offer. The following photos will help clue you in as too what the track looks like and some of the attendies at this years Proline Maxx Challange.

Towards the end of the day the track was showing definite signs of wear and the holes just got bigger.


Even though the monster truck had a small turnout, the racing action was still a site to be seen.


Billy Laster had some solid runs in his gas truck today in qualifing allowing him to make the A main.


Chad Bradely as always putting on a good show. Later on in the day during his buggy heat he managed to pull a 360 of the drop on the back straight without even losing time it seemed.


Some two wheel action was a commom occurance due to the pot holes forming in the track.



With the three main doubles there was always some great action going on.


Tomorrow is the mains for the 2007 Proline Maxx Challage and later on in the evening i will be posting the results so don't forget to check it out.

At the Proline Maxx Challange there is a two class maximum entry per driver. The goal was to have two drivers in gas truck and three in truggy. So Drake and Waldron are racing gas truck while Truhe, Fischer, and Atondo are racing truggy. All of the Losi drivers are racing buggy.

Drake going big in the Big Air comp.


Billy Fisher's Truggy looked dialed the whole weekend.


Cody King was pulling in some fast laps but just couldn't keep the truck running. He eventually pulled off with reports mechanical problems.


Jake Thare kept busy this weekend by racing 1/8 Buggy and 1/10 truck. The 1/10 gas truck race looked brutal due to track conditions.


Saxton and Degani had a strong battle for quite a while during the Truggy race.


Chris Van Air, an up and coming racer who pulled in some fast laps in his CEO powered 8ight through out the weekend.


This weekend offered some really close and tight racing which caused a lot of commotion coming from the sidelines. Overall it was an amazing race and I hope you all appreciate the coverage.

Saxton was driving a Mugen MBX5-T during the race and at a few of the other races the other AE drivers were driving different manufacturs truggy's. Saxton drove the mugen truggy flawlessly.
