Ok folks, the JR aerotow is over, from the published reports a great time was had by all who attended. Whats that? you did not make it this year? Well neither did I, thats why our club The Silent Knights Soaring Society has decided to hold our own "East Coast" Aerotow event with a twist.
The twist you ask? We will be towing "All Electric only", thats right no gas, glow or noisy weed whacker motors allowed! Currently we have three electric tugs with the possiblity of at least five available from our club alone.
Our field is wide open with plenty of overfly area. On site 110v available for charging as well as high capacity 12v available right on the flight line. Lunch will be available on site both days.
Motels are 10 minutes away as well as a large shopping mall for Tax Free shopping.
We are currently negotiating with several vendors as well as magazine coverage and expect to have a fairly large turnout.
