looks great! much more race freindly, as much as you can call an MGT race freindly and it is probably much lighter, which means easier brushless conversions!!

That is awesome looking! Well...as awesome looking as something can be before seeing body-off pictures and seeing how the Thunder Tiger quality is...hopefully it's up to the level on the 1/8 MGT...if so this could be a killer little truck!

Sorry, we don't have any body-off shots yet. This press release came in late Friday afternoon. Believe me, I’m just as anxious to see chassis shots as much as you are. We'll get chassis shots up as soon as Team Associated sends us some. The truck is not designed to compete with the Revo, T-Maxx or other turcks of the same size. It's a 1/10-scale vehicle, which has a shoter wheelbase and it's powered by a small block 18-size engine. This is going to be an awesome truck. I can't wait to get my hands on one. It should shake up new life in the 1/10-scale, nitro 4WD category. Check back - we're going to be all over Team Associated to provide more pics soon.

The T-Maxx and Revo still claim to be 1/10th scale even though they are larger than trucks like a RC10. So you're thinking this will be RC10 size, but 4wd MT?

Just courious. Did AE design and built this, or is it Thunder Tiger designed and built but with the AE name on it.

Looks like it's truly 1/10 scale, not "big 1/10" like the T-Maxx and all those trucks.

Yes, the Mini MGT is 1/10-scale - roughly the same size as an Associated GT2, or Losi Triple XT, except it has larger monster truck tires. And no, it's not a re-badged Thunder Tiger SSK. Read the press release; it has an extruded chassis, 2-speed reversing transmission, 8 oil-filled shocks, 18-size engine and a ton of other cool features. This truck is the bomb! And don't think that Team Associated has nothing to do with their vehicle designs; they are entrenched in every aspect of design and manufacturing, and the quality control is better than it has ever been. I hope this truck inspires other companies to design 1/10-scale nitro monster trucks as well.
