Did you get me an aluminum tube chassis yet? That would look real good with my new tires, rims, and Axial axles. No, really.

It's 11PM and I just got back to my room. So, who won? Well, here's the quick answer: Austin Dunn took home the win in very impressive fashion. He struggled during the day and was clearly frustrated, but made the top five and was the only driver to finish the finals course. This guy is on fire and is expected to win every comp he enters--talk about pressure!

I did okay. My truck broke (stripped a motor mount) on course one which claimed many victims. I did a quick fix, cleared a gate or two and the motor moved again. That was course one. On course two, I was doing pretty good but timed out. Very few people finished course three, but I was having a decent run and about to finish when my motor moved again. I finished towards the bottom of the Pro class. When I saw how guys like Austin Dunn were struggling, I felt a lot better. It's tough to cover and run in an event. It was also the first time my Edge chassis got to see rocks. I am happy with it, but I need to rebuild the shocks and dial in a little less articulation. Slightly stiffer rear springs might also help.
