We're at the Annual Cactus Classic in Scottsdale, Arizona. Here are some pictures of the track, pits, and fast guys.

The Kyosho pits is full now that they have a full line-up of electric vehicles.

This is where Fish, Truhe, Lee, Wachter, and the rest of the Losi crew pit.

The Yokomo pit houses 14-time World Champ Masami Hirosaka.

Associated's Jared Tebo TQed the first round of modified buggy.

Losi's Billy Fischer gets bonus points for whipping it over the double.

Yokomo's Masami Hirosaka just top qualified round #3 of 2WD Modified. Masami finished a 1/10 of a second in front of Associated's Ryan Cavalieri.

Losi's Mike Truhe and Associated's Ryan Maifield battled on the track for the TQ spot with Truhe edging out Maifield by a couple tenths.

Associated's Lee Martin TQs after Ryan Maifield and Ryan Cavalieri get together on the track. Mansfield was going to set the TQ, but it didn't look like Cavalieri was going to give him much room. When the two drivers' buggies collided Mansfield's B44 broke.

After four rounds of qualifying and four different TQs, Team Associated's Jared Tebo is the class of the field.

Ryan Maifield dropped the hammer and easily took TQ honors in the final round of Mod Truck qualifying.

Team Associated's Jared Tebo grabs the "W" in both Mod 4WD and Mod 2WD. His teammate Ryan Cavalieri took the win in Mod Truck.

Tebo's win in Mod 4WD was impressive! He sat 7th on the grid and says, "my car wasn't that good in qualifying. I struggled with it, and barely made the main. During the main my B44 was really good." Tebo picked off fellow racers with ease. I've said it before and I'll say it again, he is the best chaser in all of RC racing! His nickname should be "Jaws" or something. I sure wouldn't want the patriotic paint scheme to pull up on me.

In Mod Truck all three podium drivers finished with the same amount of points. The tie went to the driver with the best combined times, which would have been Ryan "Mansfield" Maifield, but he rolled it over just feet from the finish line on the very last lap of A3. Cavalieri was several seconds behind Maifield who was in second when he rolled over and watched his helpless T4 sit like a turtle on it's shell. Cavalieri hammered the throttle and drove right past his upside down teammate to take second in A3. What's even crazier is that Cavalieri's combined times edged out his teammate Mansfield by .2 of second. Oh yeah, and Cavalieri broke during the warm-up laps. Brent Thielke, Jason Corl, and Louis "Lou Dog" Cavalieri frantically fixed the truck just ticks before their 2-minute grace period was up.
