AKA would like to announce the release of their next generation of tire foams. Based on the original industry standard closed cell foam insert, our new grooved insert is designed advantage of the radial ribs on our carcass in our WISHBONE and ENDURO tires while still providing great performance in our CITYBLOCK, I-BEAM, GRIDIRON and CROSSBRACE. This new grooved insert design is replacing our original non-grooved insert.

Enduro and Wishbone Short Course tires
AKA is proud to announce the release of the ENDURO and WISHBONE tires designed specifically for the 1/10 short course trucks. These tires are made to fit the stock wheels from all the popular short course trucks. Gil Losi, Jr. and Mark Pavidis designed these tires which feature 2.2”/3” bead design and an inner carcass design made to perfectly fit the industry standard AKA closed cell foams. This results in a much more controlled outer sidewall for more consistent handling and tread wear. No more cranking in tons of camber to keep the tire patch flat on the ground. The AKA ENDURO tread pattern is an all-around good tire for just about any surface condition. The WISHBONE is suited to the high bite blue grooved clay tracks or indoor clay tracks. With a set of each in your box you won’t need to worry about having the right tire.
THESE TWO TIRES WILL BE INTRODUCED AT THE CACTUS CLASSIC THIS WEEKEND AT SRS RACEWAY IN ARIZONA.
