8 cells would certainly make a difference. Just make sure your speed control can handle the extra voltage and current loads.

8 cell for a Clodbuster 6 cells don't seem enough

I have a Clodbuster with a Novak Super Rooster ESC and Magnetic Mayhem 22 turn motors. My 6 cell batteries don't seem like their giving the motors enough juice to run the RPMs the motors are made for.It is barely faster than the stock 540 motors.Just wondering if 8 cells would be faster!Any help would be appreciated.

Are you using the "ClodPack" batteries or regular standard "six-cell stick-packs" cause the clodbuster was ment to use these 4000 mah
D-cell size packs (with 8 cells I think) ther'ye considerably costly like $65~$80. but those suckers really juice-up your clod. >:^)
