Any Monster Blazer owners out there?

I have had my MB for a few weeks now an I just love it! I added the steel spur gear, an 11 tooth clutch bell, and an ofna P4 engine. What do you have on yours?

Hey Bolink,
I got a MB too. Its a great truck. Mine is more or less stock. Ofna p4 engine, and um yeah thats all ive done to it so far. I'd really like to change the gearing here soon...the acceleration is a bit sluggish, and the climbing ability is lacking something...like ability...but anyways, just thought I'd say I'm here.

How long does a clutch last in your truck? Just wondering. Hopefully my new clutch shoes will come so I can take my MB to the track this weekend!

Well Bolink, i dont know yet...I haven't made it thru a clutch yet...i only recently got it running decently, so i havent had any problems...I'll tell you if i do...
Now a question for you, how much did the 11 tooth bell help the acceleration? cuz i know mines not all that great...Thanks.

Acceleration is phenominal considering mine came with a 17tooth clutch bell (it was a converted Blazer SST!). Even with that super tall gearing it was still alot of fun! I just like to watch the suspension do it's thing when you crawl over anything. Also the sound is pretty cool....

Ive got one too, I like it but I need to sell it,
Check it out, I have everthing to convert it to whatever you want.
It was a Ultra Worlds GT, then I converted it to a Monster Blazer, so I have parts to make it whatever you want, some spare parts too, screws, rear bulkhead, wheel hexes, and a spare new in the box 4 more buggy wheels. everything is in great shape, the bottom of the chassis is scratched like all the rest that have been run. Metal spur, spare pinion,
Here is your choice, No radio or servos BUT you decide if you want the engine or not, It has a just broke in R&B concepts Reckward Europa S7, this is a very HIPO motor and cost me $270,
If you want the truck/buggy with the motor it is $500 OBO with out it is $270 OBO, Prices figured shipped!.
Let me know.
Here are two pics of the truck and two of the buggy. http://albums.photopoint.com/j/View?...426&Sequence=0 http://albums.photopoint.com/j/View?...430&Sequence=0 http://albums.photopoint.com/j/View?...062&Sequence=1 http://albums.photopoint.com/j/View?...064&Sequence=1

I have a Monster Blazer, with a 2 speed trans in it, that my dad modifyed, by adding a jackshaft and chain sprockets so that the gearing is perfect firt gear it pulls wheelies on pavement second gear 50MPH problem is we break alot of diffs. So now I have a Monster Pirate the stock gearing is perfect on this truck!!!! It ripps up hills just with all 4 tires throughing dirt! And No problem with the diffs. I love those big tires The monser pirate is a completely different truck than the Blazer everything about it is much better this thing dosent break.
